The Vision

We envision a sacred sanctuary β€” a place rooted in ancestral healing, ceremony, and community. We are building a permanent home where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the earth.

Why Land Matters

Land is more than soil and space. It is a living foundation that holds memory, wisdom, and future promise. Owning dedicated land ensures that healing spaces remain safe, sacred, and sustainable for generations to come.

With land of our own, we ensure that healing is never dependent on borrowed spaces, but instead rooted in permanence and protection.

This sanctuary will allow us to:

  • 🌿 Protect a sacred space for ancestral ceremonies and gatherings.

  • 🌱 Grow herbal and healing gardens that nourish body and spirit.

  • πŸ”₯ Create sustainable community spaces for retreats, education, and restoration.

What Will Be There

When the sanctuary is established, it will include:

  • 🌿 Ancestral Healing Spaces – where ceremony, song, and tradition guide the way.

  • 🌱 Herbal & Healing Gardens – grown with care to support holistic wellness.

  • πŸ”₯ Community Gathering Circles – spaces for teaching, storytelling, and celebration.

  • 🌍 Sustainable Practices – honoring the earth through responsible stewardship.

Our Mission: We believe everyone deserves a safe space to heal. Together, we heal, awaken, and rebuild.

Preparation & Integration Support

At Mending Lives, we believe that ancestral ceremonies are most powerful when paired with thoughtful preparation and integration. Our sanctuary will not only host sacred gatherings but also provide personalized guidance before and after each ceremony.

How We Support Participants

  • 🧭 Evaluation & Readiness – Licensed and unlicensed master’s-level trauma therapists will help participants determine if they are ready, ensuring each experience is approached with safety and care.

  • 🌱 Developing Intention – Before the ceremony, our specialists will provide one-on-one coaching to help participants set meaningful intentions and connect to the purpose of their journey.

  • πŸ”₯ Ceremony & Sacred Space – Ceremonies will be facilitated with respect for ancestral traditions, within a safe and supportive environment.

  • πŸ’œ Integration & Processing – Afterward, participants will have one-on-one sessions with trauma-informed therapists to reflect, process insights, and integrate lessons into daily life.

Healing does not end when the ceremony closes. Our approach ensures that participants are supported through the whole arc of the experience β€” before, during, and after β€” blending ancestral wisdom with trauma-informed practices to create lasting transformation.

Legacy Impact

The sanctuary is more than a project β€” it is a legacyβ€”a place where ancestral traditions meet modern community, and where harmony with the earth can be restored. Here, healing will not be temporary, but lasting β€” passed forward to future generations.
